Eric Taylor Set to Join the White Column’s Tennis Staff

Eric is originally from New Orleans, LA and has been playing tennis for more than 40 years. In that time, he has competed in numerous tournaments and leagues; achieved various state rankings in singles, doubles and mixed doubles; a AA-2 Men’s and Mixed City ALTA Champion, USTA division and section winner and has represented the states of Florida and Georgia in USTA regional competitions.

Eric has been in the tennis coaching field for more than 20 years. An accomplished tennis player known affectionately by his students as Coach E, his passion for teaching is only exceeding by his love for the game and commitment to an enriching, enjoyable experience for everyone on the courts. He has great expertise in tennis instruction, performance training, athlete nutrition, planning and implementing strength and conditioning programs from aspiring youth to elite professional athletes. 

Coach Eric incorporates high energy, technique specific, strategy, game based approach drills in clinics and individual lessons. He has trained recreational, competitive, college and WTA tour players such as Elena Dementieva and Alexandra Stevenson to achieve their best.

Eric and his wife Stephanie have 4 children and 2 grand children.
